"The fact is that everyone stood against "Vazrazhdane", both in parliament and some of the parties outside it. And the day after the protest, which became known throughout Europe", Tsoncho Ganev from "Vazrazhdane" said in "The Day Begins" on BNT.
"As of today - yes, we are against everyone. This does not bother us, because our voters are behind us".
He stated that from "Vazrazhdane" they want "as a start, the government's immediate resignation". According to him, what is happening in parliament is "creeping fascism and totalitarianism towards the opposition".
"Ban, persecution, spraying, beating of protests".
Tsoncho Ganev stated that there are currently "political prisoners" in connection with those detained during the party's protest in front of the EC building. When you are accused of hooliganism and they impose a permanent measure of "detention under arrest", and for terrorism they take away your passport and you cannot leave the country, what is that - the MP asked.
"The detention of these four young Bulgarians just because they were at a protest. They brought a carton of eggs and started throwing them. These are the charges against them - for eggs, not for objects".
These are political repressions, Ganev stated. What is happening in the Serbian parliament has not been condemned by anyone, it has not been declared fascism by the EC, by our democratic parties. But there is a problem in Bulgaria, he specified.
"And we are reaching the point where a deputy is being chased in the hall solely because he said from the podium that Boyko Borisov is a scumbag and a criminal".
The deputy from "Vazrazhdane" was outraged by the findings that the party was "wasting time" during the plenary sessions.
