Hesitation on the part of the Central Election Commission and "Information Service" to fulfill the Constitutional Court's order to reflect the results of the expert examinations. This was stated by Nadezhda Yordanova, a deputy from the PP-DB.
"There is no obstacle for the CEC and "Information Service" to complete their assigned work and recalculate the election result, as the Constitutional Court has said. This institutional resistance is worrying, I don't want to say institutional war. Bulgarian society has no interest in this behavior of either the Constitutional Court, the CEC, or the "Information Service", Yordanova stated.
According to her, they insist that all bodies fulfill their powers under the law as quickly as possible and that the Constitutional Court issue a decision on the complaints filed against the election results.
"There is only one way out - each of the bodies has fulfilled its powers. In a state governed by the rule of law, there is no other way out," Yordanova told journalists in parliament.
