The Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova commented on the case of the recount of the election results. According to her, the situation is dangerous and unprecedented.
„We, the representatives of the 51st National Assembly, express our deep concern about the development of the constitutional case. From the hearing of members of the CEC and the “Information Service” it became clear that, firstly, not all the ballots reached the experts and, secondly, that bags were handed over in which there were no ballots and receipts. For some of the polling stations, they reported that there were no votes, which is not true. In this way, the votes of at least 780 voters were not counted. Someone is not doing their job intentionally and that is obvious”, said Kiselova.
In her words “the biggest deficit is that the Constitutional Court has classified its work”. “The situation is dangerous and unprecedented. We are on the verge of enormous institutional instability. We believe that the inter-institutional dialogue must be restored”, emphasized the Speaker of Parliament.
The people's representatives will discuss a declaration in connection with the hearing of the CEC and “Information Service” on Tuesday in Parliament.
