With 128 votes "for", the parliament adopted the declaration calling on the members of the Constitutional Court to make public all documents related to the constitutional case on the challenge of the last parliamentary elections, BNT reported.
The declaration was submitted hours after yesterday's hearing of the CEC leadership and the head of "Information Services" on the scandal. Only the Speaker of the National Assembly, Natalia Kiselova, signed as the submitter.
The text of the declaration emphasizes that from the hearing it became clear that the experts did not receive all the ballots from the sections that were recounted; that empty bags were handed over; that the votes of at least 780 Bulgarian citizens were not counted.
"Someone is not doing their job intentionally and this is obvious. The biggest deficiency in the work of the Constitutional Court is that it has kept its work secret, there is a lack of transparency. Until now, it had to rule on whether the elections were completely or partially annulled. The situation is unprecedented and extremely dangerous. We are on the verge of enormous institutional instability, which calls into question the foundations of statehood," the draft declaration states.
