We have hit rock bottom with this situation. Whatever the Constitutional Court decides in this situation, I do not believe that anyone will be convinced. Whether "Velichy" enters or not, we will not convince the general public that this is the right decision and that this is not a political decision. This is because of the overall picture. This will be the summary result or rather the lack of a result, political scientist Parvan Simeonov - founder of the "Myara" sociological agency told the Bulgarian National Radio.
According to him, if the "Velichy" party enters parliament, the government will probably continue to work, but its majority will be much more fragile. "In this fragile majority, the government will increasingly depend on external factors, such as the DPS-New Beginning, and on some issues, the PP-DB", added the political scientist.
And he predicted that the situation will remain difficult. According to him, the only thing that can make sense of the government's existence will be to possibly wait for the convergence report and Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone.
"This will not be easy at all, because Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone is not to the taste of the majority of Bulgarians, and this, together with the turbulent situation that has arisen, will embolden all forms of protest, including forms of protest for the government's resignation,", pointed out the political scientist.
There will be no rethinking of the existence of the government itself, but in all likelihood there will have to be a rethinking of its future, Simeonov expressed his opinion.
