"Majesty" enters the National Assembly. This was decided by the Constitutional Court in the case of the legality of the parliamentary elections in October last year, reports bTV.
The court partially annuls the election of individual members of parliament.
The constitutional judges have been sitting for two hours in the case of the legality of the vote. Five complaints were filed by parties about the legality of the elections and the Constitutional Court combined them into one case. Then it appointed two expert opinions and its own experts, according to which there were inaccuracies in the data in 2204 sections.
Two weeks later, the CEC sent the Constitutional Court the new data from the recount. Today's decision will determine whether a new party will enter the parliament, with how many deputies and how many of the current composition will drop out.
According to preliminary information, "Velicie" will enter with ten MPs.
They will be at the expense of three people from GERB - UDF, two from "Vazrazhdane", one each from PP - DB, ITN, BSP, "DPS - Novo nacholu" and MECH.
The Constitutional Court partially annulled the elections of individual MPs in 2008 as well, news.bg recalls. The case was about annulling the elections in Turkey at the request of the then Prosecutor General Boris Velchev.
At that time, however, this only led to the dropping out of certain MPs at the expense of others and there was no entry of a new party. The petitioner was Atanas Semov, then an MP who also dropped out.
