Diana Damyanova warned of collusion between Rumen Radev and PP-DB against Boyko Borisov - 1

In Bulgaria we have a list democracy! If you are close to the leader - you end up on the party's lists for the elections.

This opinion was expressed to the Bulgarian National Radio PR expert Diana Damyanova and commented:

"The electoral process in our country has been flawed since the day the parties wrote the lists, because we have a list democracy. If you are close to Borisov - you end up on the lists and we even register such people as deputies, they do not even compete. In this sense, this proportional system largely leads to depriving the electoral process of its essence, namely to elect the people who govern us. We elect the leader of the people who govern us, and from then on they are on lists, depending on the loyalty they have - some to Boyko Borisov, others to Kiril Petkov, others to Delyan Peevski, etc. ".

I do not agree with this "total insult to the electoral process", she emphasized and added that trust in the elections has completely collapsed and if people knew until now that they could sell their vote, they now know that they can also have it annulled.

In her words, the decision of the Constitutional Court to annul votes is also demotivating, because people do not want to participate in a process that has been decided in advance.

"I do not think that the PP-DB has any intention of negotiating and supporting the ruling majority. Since the day of the elections, they announced that they are entering total opposition. I don't see any possibility of seeking a conversation with the PP-DB, I don't think Borisov is ready to hold these conversations, they know each other," she further commented.

I also imagine Rumen Radev's influence in the Constitutional Court's decision, Damyanova shared in connection with Borisov's statement about this:

"Radev is disappointed. He could have gone out on the political field and swept them away. He believed that in the last elections, a government would still not be formed and that there would be time to form one. However, now conditions are being created for what seems to be a long government, in which there will be various reconfigurations of forces. Radev will probably get closer to PP-DB again and it seems to me that they will lead the battle against Borisov together.

According to Diana Damyanova, if DPS-DPS do not continue to support the majority, we will have to "go to Peevski's option that he will not allow this government to fall":

"I believe that Peevski, who claims that he will become the prime minister of this country, prefers it to be in the eurozone. I think that his intentions to protect entry into the eurozone are of an economic and political nature".

Solidarity is expressed with help, not with declaring national mourning, the PR expert believes.

"The quick reaction with sending the "Spartan" plane and ambulances, with a good organization, to help a country in distress, was wonderful. What we are doing today with national mourning is too much".
