The temperatures in the coming days will rise even more. It will get warmer and we will go in T-shirts again, said Anastasia Stoycheva, head of the "Meteorological Forecasts" sector at the National Institute of Meteorology and Chemistry, on „This Saturday“ on bTV.
However, at the end of next week, a new process is expected, in which there will be precipitation and a drop in temperatures.
„In the middle of this week, with high temperatures in the afternoon, cumulus-rainy clouds will also develop. Wednesday and Thursday it will be more powerful in the afternoon hours, it will be accompanied by thunderstorms and temporary strengthening of the wind“, Stoycheva specified.
“We are starting a week in which it will rain more often. This does not mean that there will be no sun, but the decrease in temperatures will be towards the end of the week“, she added.
There is a danger of hail
“When the cold atmospheric front passes, which we expect towards the middle of the week, the difference in temperatures will allow the air mass to be more unstable. "To develop that powerful cumulus-rain cloudiness that reaches higher altitudes in the atmosphere and this is one of the reasons for the conditions for hail," explained Anastasia Stoycheva.
Almost the entire spring will alternate with warmer weather with a more stable atmosphere. Stopping precipitation and then increasing temperatures.
Will it rain enough in the spring?
In March, in most of the country, we are below the precipitation norms, the meteorologist said.
„By the end of March, and also in April, it seems that we will have processes in which there will be sufficient precipitation. If we look at the seasonal forecast, there is not a strong enough signal to say that it will be dry or very wet. The closer forecasts already see that we will have conditions in which there will be more precipitation. The only problem is that they are local in nature“, explained Stoycheva.
“We need to be ready with cleaned troughs, so that there are no clogged areas, so that they don't turn white“, she warned.
