„The ambulance driver who died is my stepmother's nephew. A little girl who lives very close to us also died“, actor Igor Damyanov - a Macedonian who lives and acts in Bulgaria - told bTV.
He was born in Kochani, he lived in Vinnitsa.
„The whole atmosphere in Macedonia is extremely heavy right now. My parents are shocked, they don't want to leave the house. The pain is immense“, says Igor Damyanov.
He says he went to the „Pulse“ discotheque a few years ago.
„This wasn't a disco – it was some kind of sewing workshop outside the city itself, in the industrial part of Kochani. It was dark. I didn't think about it at all then. That was at the beginning of the disco's opening – 2013-2014. It was very noisy“, the actor also says.
„I didn't go after that. But I compare it with the discos in Bulgaria – there are big differences. In Macedonia, they had to catch up a lot with the standards and levels of nightlife that were in Bulgaria, especially after the incident in „Indigo“. Things changed, while in Macedonia things stayed where they were“, said Igor Damyanov.
