A head-on accident between two trucks occurred on March 27 at around 05:45. The incident occurred on a main road in a section of the Ruzhintsi municipality.
A truck with a Turkish registration, moving in the direction of Montana-Vidin, violating traffic rules, hit a truck with a Bulgarian registration moving in the opposite direction.
Significant material damage was caused, as the Turkish truck caught fire and was completely destroyed, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
The driver was examined at the “St. Petka“ Hospital in the city of Vidin and released. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated at the Belogradchik Regional Police Department.
