The accident on the Pleven - Lukovit road, in which 12-year-old Siyana died, is a public execution. It cannot be considered an ordinary accident. This was said by the auto expert and former head of the Sofia Traffic Police Alexi Kesyakov in the studio of “Your Day” on NOVA NEWS.
According to him, a new practice should be introduced. He added that the section where the accident occurred should have signaling in memory of the deceased child. So that everyone who drives knows that there is a person killed there.
The chairman of the Union of Bulgarian Motorists Emil Panchev commented that the roads in the country must be improved, but for this purpose everyone must do their job. In his words, there is formalism - everything is written in a book, but it is not implemented.
We recall that Siyana died in a collision between a passenger car and a heavy truck on the Pleven - Lukovit road. She and her grandparents were riding in the car. The 57-year-old man who was driving the car is in serious condition. The woman did not suffer serious injuries.
Hours after the tragedy, the father of the deceased child contacted NOVA. He requested urgent measures for this section, which is in poor condition. In recent months, the “Traffic Police” - Pleven has also issued such signals. According to the RIA, however, there are no defects in the pavement.
In 5 years, 34 accidents have occurred on this section, 10 people were injured, and three died. Among them is the 12-year-old child.
