The third Bulgarian helicopter for providing emergency medical assistance by air has landed in Bulgaria. This was announced on its Facebook page by the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance by Air. The air ambulance will be temporarily based at the regional HEMS base in Sliven.
Our second air ambulance arrived in Bulgaria at the end of February. It was also stationed at the regional HEMS base in Sliven. Eight aeromedical teams, consisting of 9 doctors and 8 nurses, work there. The teams have undergone mandatory training, as well as the necessary examinations, according to the requirements for European aviation medical class 2.
