Snipers from the 4th Mechanized Battalion of the 5th Brigade Command, from the multinational battle group on the territory of Bulgaria, participated in joint fire training, organized by the Battle Group at the "Novo Selo" training ground. The training was held jointly with snipers from Italy, the USA and France, from the composition of the two battle groups located on the territory of Bulgaria and Romania.
During the training, shooting exercises were practiced from various positions with a practical focus, at long and medium distances, under different visibility conditions. In addition to their regular weapons, the participants in the training had the opportunity to perform exercises with sniper rifles and carbines of servicemen from other nations. In addition to sniper shooting, the servicemen also practiced dynamic shooting at short and extremely short distances with an assault rifle and a pistol.
The training contributed to improving the habits and skills of the servicemen in conducting precise fire in various tactical situations and increasing their self-confidence for working in a multinational environment.
