Every vote of no confidence must be respected, regardless of whether it is accepted or not by the majority of society. Ultimately, this is part of the democratic system and the party that has entered parliament has the right to do this.
This was stated to BNT by Minister of Labor and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov.
We must listen to this vote of no confidence, Gutsanov added.
"On the 78th day of the government, asking for a vote of no confidence sounds a bit frivolous. There is an unwritten practice - at least 100 days should be given to a cabinet. It was a bit sucked out of the fingers as a vote of no confidence. And that's why 150 MPs did not support him, i.e. more votes were obtained now than when the cabinet was elected.
Gutsanov could not say whether it is more stable, but he explained that there is greater peace. The question is that the ruling majority should not give more reasons for a vote of no confidence. When the opposition asks for a vote of no confidence, it must first be considered. It is not good for the vote to be devalued, Gutsanov said.
The topic of corruption is not a threat to the government, the minister believes.
"And this is about corruption in a cabinet in which there is not a single signal of it. Nor do I see even minimal signs of corruption. I do not think that this is serious. I say again that the views of the MPs must be respected. But it should not devalue, he says again, this instrument - the vote of no confidence".
Regardless of the 18 billion hole, there will be no increase in taxes, said Borislav Gutsanov. 11.2% is the money that goes to pensions from the state's GDP, over 24 billion, he pointed out.
"NOI cannot do it and that is how it is stipulated by law. Part of the money should come from the central budget".
He stated that the NOI have started to carry out very serious checks and this is not because "I have become a minister". Now it is much more difficult to carry out "falsifications and fraudulent schemes". If there are violations anywhere - they are related to the TELKs and hospital bills. He is convinced that there are problems there.
Regarding the eurozone, Borislav Gutsanov said that the report must first come and it must be seen whether we will enter the eurozone.
"The euro will enter Bulgaria sooner or later and it must enter Bulgaria. The question is what is the right moment, so that ordinary people and the economy of our country do not suffer damage".
The BSP's view is that we should be part of the eurozone, "but only when we are ready".
Borislav Gutsanov stated categorically that "prices are rising brutally".
"The boycott is a signal to society, a signal to politicians that things cannot continue like this. It cannot be cheaper in Austrian grocery stores than in Bulgaria".
The Social Minister was categorical that there must be "draconian measures against speculation".
