The future of politics is in DPS-New Beginning. This was stated by the former Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov on the air of BNT, quoted by news.bg.
"The future is in DPS-New Beginning. Peevski has mastered the young people. They do not want to be divided, they want us to be modern and to be together. Everything else is in the past," he pointed out. Rashidov said that if the party continues in the same spirit, "DPS-New Beginning will increasingly be a Bulgarian party".
In his comment, the former Minister of Culture also pointed out that GERB leader Boyko Borisov wants to be president. According to him, there is nothing wrong with this, since Borisov is an experienced politician with good contacts abroad, who can be useful for Bulgaria. In his typical colorful style, the long-time politician added: "Sulio and Pulyo can be president, but Borisov can't?! Why, people? If he wants to - let him be. If the people vote for him - the voice of the people, the voice of God!"
Rashidov specified that Borisov has been looking gloomy lately because it is not easy for him - "the responsibility for this government is his". According to him, the GERB leader is the most experienced politician in the country and is used to carrying the burden of governance.
"Borisov is the most experienced politician in Bulgaria and he is taught to bear responsibility, but the behavior of many politicians towards him at this moment is not fair. He may have flaws, as much as you want, he may have sins, as much as you want, but he also has many virtues that need to be mentioned. He was a successful prime minister of Bulgaria," Rashidov added.
