The vote of no confidence will probably not pass, but this is the only way. The law gives us such a political opportunity - to raise very important topics in parliament, related not only to ongoing corruption, but also to completely new corruption models created by this government. This is how the leader of MECH Radostin Vassilev motivated in the studio of "Hello, Bulgaria" the submission of a vote of no confidence to the "Zheliazkov" cabinet. The deputies from "Velichye" and "Vazrazhdane" also signed the document.
Vassilev gave examples of "new models of corruption". He emphasized that he would present data related to the Interior Minister's cover-up of the case of discovered smuggling, "protected by senior officials in the Ministry of Interior". "This is a minister (editor's note: Daniel Mitov), who, with his entire behavior, for four months now, has been showing very categorically and clearly who is covering up organized crime. He is doing it because he represents the political party GERB and "New Beginning", which are a criminal organization," Vassilev was categorical.
He added that such actions are clearly evident, both in the case of the policeman in Burgas, who declared that it was most likely a matter of planting some drugs and weapons in a car, and in the case from Velingrad, in which police chiefs falsified documents and fabricated accusations.
According to him, political figures are at the root of a large part of organized crime. “Whether it is Boyko Borisov or Delyan Peevski - that will be established by the competent authorities. We are submitting a vote of no confidence, not an investigation”, commented the leader of MECH.
And he added that the PP-DB will not support his party for the vote, but will be in the hall and will participate in the debate.
