Are the no-confidence votes diverting us from the path to the eurozone? Diana Damyanova - PR expert and political scientists Lyubomir Stefanov and Georgi Prodanov expressed their opinion on the air of “Hello, Bulgaria”.
By next year there will be 6-7 more no-confidence votes. All of them will be nonsense. The first one was about foreign policy on the 30th day of the government. Corruption is a very complicated matter. So they are holding a no-confidence vote on the third government, on Borisov and on all of Rumen Radev's officials. The goal of all this is not to work. The goal is to blame the eurozone with constant talking, which can create political tension. The goal is not to pass laws”, explained Diana Damyanova.
She told about another case of non-compliance with the Road Traffic Act and the lack of justice.
„A clip is being spread everywhere on social networks, showing a driver running a red light through a pedestrian crossing. He almost kills 6 children. The police find him and fine him 100 leva. The case is from Trebic. However, if he does it a second time, he will be fined 200 leva. This is Bulgarian legislation. This person should be prosecuted for attempted murder”, Damyanova added.
Prodanov also claims that these chaotic actions are taking us away from the topic of the euro.
„I think that this parliamentary majority will play until the last moment the way Yanukovych played in Ukraine 10 years ago, to give up at the last moment, demonstrating that we cannot meet the criteria for the euro”, he believes.
Prodanov also expressed his opinion on the topic „Is there a cover-up of smuggling channels and sabotage of shares”. We recall that on Wednesday, former Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev came to talk about political protection.
„The Interior Minister cannot react quickly in the short time he has been in power. Simply because those in power usually work with information,” Prodanov said.
According to him, the chaos with the votes shows exactly this – huge problems in governance, suspicions of corruption.
Stefanov explained that the topic of the euro “cannot be a refuge for those in power.”
„As long as there have been living people in various hierarchical positions, there has been corruption. And this means abuse of power. However, one-way interpretation and stumbling into some kind of quick street justice style in this topic is dangerous. Such things do not work without an insider. Mr. Demerdzhiev, if he has such information for protection, he should show it," he said.
