Boyko Borisov will have to clearly say whether he will decide on a minority government or openly rely on the support of Delyan Peevski. This was stated by political analyst Parvan Simeonov for BNT, after it became clear that Dogan's people were withdrawing their support for the cabinet of Rosen Zhelyazkov.
According to him, the better option is a minority government, based on the goal of Bulgaria being accepted into the Eurozone. According to the political analyst, there can always be "some other support" in the parliament on this issue.
"There are many unknowns. Very soon we will have to receive an answer from GERB on what is next," Simeonov added.
"If I were Slavi Trifonov and it turned out that I was in a government entirely dependent on Peevski, I would think about it - and also if I were his minister. If I were BSP, I would think about it again. The question should be asked and what Peevski himself would say. We should also think about the possibility that some voices could be heard from the Presidency," he added.
