"Low-cost flights from Sofia to Italy, Spain are bringing foreign tourists back to our country", he explained. According to him, there is a lot of domestic travel in the country.

"We have started working with the German and Austrian health insurance funds. A spa for foreigners is a type of advertising that the doctor must direct the patient to and tell him where it is most healing. In Bulgaria, it's more for pleasure, for family vacations," the expert explained.
In his words, Sofia is reinventing itself as a tourist destination. "We are open to conference tourism. Bulgaria is not yet known in this area," he added.
