A bus driver from the public transport in Burgas was attacked and beaten by a passenger, the press center of the Municipality reported, quoted by BTA.
The incident occurred at around 6:00 this morning. The bus was parked at the terminal of the municipal carrier "Burgasbus" in the "Meden Rudnik" complex. A young man got on the bus in a visibly drunk and inadequate state and asked to be taken to a village near the city. After being refused, the man beat the bus driver with his fists. The victim has been admitted to the hospital and is under medical supervision.
According to the Municipality, the perpetrator has been detained by the police.
