The detention of the head of the “Customs” agency Petya Bankova is another assault against a person who tried to do something for our development as a country. Such people who imagine that Bulgaria can become a regular European country, with happy, peaceful and prosperous citizens, do not find support here. Regardless of whether we are talking about Dimitar Berbatov, Reneta Injova or Petya Bankova and all individuals who want a European development path for Bulgaria, want an end to theft and corruption, they are not tolerated at the state level, nor do they find enough support from civil society . Investigative journalist Slavi Angelov also said this in his last TV appearance, that he is worried about how poorly society reacts to important social problems, how inactive we are still, after so many years of free development of the country.
Well, let's wait for the prosecution's accusations, to hear the court's decision before passing judgment on the case... There is nothing to wait for, the case is clear. Smuggling channels were created during the time of socialism and patronized by the DS then, they exist to this day and are patronized by state offices such as DANS and the like. And anyone who stands in the way of these huge illegal funds, which are then distributed through the appropriate channels, is removed and punished. Such is the case with the new innocent victim Petya Bankova, who is currently in pre-trial detention. What is this woman experiencing right now, what thoughts are going through her head in the timelessness of the prison cell? Think about how you would feel if you were charged and detained for trying to do your job. How will you treat this country and everyone around you after that?
I don't know when we will finally understand in Bulgaria that one should not steal. Let's understand that it's not good to steal, no matter what – money, time, property, tape recorders from the cars, or the children from the other parent. This is one of God's commandments – “Do not steal.” Understand, dear fellow citizens, theft, as well as lying, at first glance something not so terrible, is a great crime, equal to murder, as said in these same ten commandments of God.
Western, European society is built on trust. Civilization is built on trust. Yes, it's very easy to lie to such people, and we here mockingly say that they are big balls. Big balls are really because they believe themselves. And here we lie, steal and don't trust each other. Thus, Bulgaria turns into an oriental swamp, where no one dares to do anything or support someone, so as not to spoil their pleasure and only watches the success of those who try to do something. A great picture, but it doesn't connect with Europe, with which we don't want to have borders, or we want to have borders where we won't be stopped.
With our inaction we support the mafia. Because to return again to God's word – evil asks of us only our inaction, it wants us not to oppose it. If we do not respond to evil, if we do not oppose it, it grows and encompasses more and more. If we want Bulgaria to exist, we must be brave, active and responsible. Otherwise, we lose Bulgaria.
