Trump has once again proven that he is the bravest leader on the planet. He dared to oppose the icons of liberal democracy - the market economy and the free market. He imposed the fairest tariffs on countries that have shamelessly and brazenly been using America for years and making it poor and dependent.

I will not repeat any numbers (almost), because they revolve endlessly in the world. I will try to briefly outline the benefits and harms of Trump's historic action.
Benefits for the USA
1. Direct and immediately achievable benefit - at least $500 billion each year will pour into the treasury from higher tariffs. With this money, Trump will most likely pay for future tax cuts, especially the reduction of the income tax. This is a huge benefit for the US, which the neo-communists deliberately do not mention.
2. Returning all production to the US to save themselves from tariffs. Here are examples - already “Honda” announced that it will build a plant in Indiana with a production of 210 thousand “Honda Civic”. “Hyundai” announced that it will invest $21 billion in the US for: a) a $6 billion steel plant in Louisiana for its cars, b) already opened a plant on March 26, 2025 for $7.59 billion in Georgia and c) will open a plant by 2028. for $9 billion with 14 thousand jobs.
Important: Obviously Trump wants to boost American production, sharply reduced by the globalists since 2000. But any American production will be quite expensive for Americans, because its price is cheap in the Third World, but not in the USA. That is why Trump hits the workshops of the world the hardest - China, Vietnam, India, Cambodia, Laos. His goal is to take as much money from them as possible through higher tariffs on all goods (in my opinion, tariffs on these countries are not high enough at all) to pay for the more expensive American labor.
3. This benefit is moral - this is how justice is restored for America, shamelessly used by everyone, but also by the EU, Canada and Mexico through incomparably higher tariffs on these countries, compared to those in the USA. EU neo-communists dispute these high tariffs, but they, of course, cannot be trusted.
Harms for the US
1. Americans will undoubtedly face higher prices for almost everything because of Trump's tariffs. But higher prices for what exactly? Answer: only for imported goods and services that cannot be replaced by domestic ones in the US. What? Answer: the US market is the largest in the world and will most likely absorb and dilute the higher prices, as happened with Trump's first tariffs in 2018. I think that is exactly what Trump hopes for, and I think he is right. For example, there will be (almost) no difficulties with cars, because the US has a giant, traditional domestic production. In addition, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen and several large Japanese companies have factories in the US, where any local can buy a car duty-free. American food, drinks, clothes, shoes, furniture, wood, steel, aluminum, agricultural products, all kinds of electronics, all kinds of medicines and pharmaceuticals - I think all of this can replace imported goods with higher prices, because of tariffs.
Honestly, I can't think of any American good/service that can't replace imported ones, except for the production of steel, aluminum and medicines, but these industries are already developing, because of tariffs. For example - Americans suffered a lot at the beginning of the Chinese virus, when it ridiculously turned out that they didn't have medicines, even masks and oxygen machines, because America turned out to be almost entirely dependent on China. I hope they have learned their lesson by now.
But oil has already started to decrease in price, which is not good for the US, but also for Russia and all other producers.
I think that after the launch of the Keystone Pipeline (800 thousand barrels per day) soon by Trump (the pipeline was closed by Biden), production will stabilize.
2. The Wall Street markets have already lost about several trillion dollars due to Trump's tariffs. The neo-communist media around the world and in our country have turned a deaf ear to this, but I would not worry. Very soon the markets will jump up again, then bend down, then - up and down. And so on. If someone has decided to get rich with the Wall Street markets, so much the worse for him/her.
3. Increasing inflation. This is serious, because it was with this and another promise that Trump came to power. The other one he fulfilled - he closed the southern border, almost stopped the invasion of illegal immigrants and the terrible influx of fentanyl, which killed 304,080 Americans (three hundred and four thousand and eighty) thanks to Biden, Harris, China and Mexico from 01.01.2021 to 08.30.2024. Trump stopped these terrible mass murders of Americans! These are data from the Center for Disease Control, an official federal agency of the US Department of Health. Neo-communists would do well to remember this number - 304,080 Americans killed.
But the other main promise - reducing inflation, with which Trump came to power, he has not yet fulfilled. According to him, economic changes take time, that's the way it is. But now it will be twice as difficult for him to reduce Biden's 19.4% inflation accumulated over his four years in office, because of higher tariffs, which will certainly increase inflation.
To me, this is the biggest difficulty facing Trump and his people now, because the midterm elections in November 2026 may be far away, but they will come very quickly, because time flies and flies. By then, he must erase the negative consequences of higher tariffs, but also implement his great intention of cutting taxes, which will undoubtedly greatly stimulate the economy. The tax cut must be approved by both houses of Congress, which will not be easy, especially in the House of Representatives. After that, it takes at least a few months for this to be felt in the economy - and from there for ordinary Americans. And in every midterm election, the president's party is in a tough spot, especially if voters decide the economy is bad. The result: Republicans will almost certainly lose the House of Representatives, which will greatly reduce Trump's ability to act.
The main thing for me: Trump has proven himself to be the leader of generations in the United States since the fall of communism. No president (except Reagan and maybe Nixon) since the war has shown such courage, consistency, and dignity in America. But, of course, in a great but divided country, that only applies to half of America. Fortunately, only half, because thanks to the globalist, Western media, observers and politicians who produce neo-communists every day, in Western and a large part of Eastern Europe, Trump is already a curse.
And yet: no American president, at least after the war, has dared to break the shackles of the sacred cow of liberal democracy.
The shackles of the market economy and the free market.
And that does him honor.
