Three reasons for the horror roller coaster on the roads. This was commented on "Facebook" by Diana Damyanova.

1. Poor quality of construction. Corrupt practices in road construction, money in bags, poor quality labor, bad projects, bad cheap materials. This is the actual characteristic of a large part of the long-forgotten road construction in Bulgaria. Because this has not happened for 5 years, or as Borisov picturesquely puts it, "not a single spoonful of asphalt has been laid."

In reality, during the time of Kiril Petkov, due to the belief that all road construction is corrupt, the money for already built roads was stopped, and new ones were not made.

This was the reason for the fall of Petkov's government. Today's Minister Karadjov essentially resigned and led to the fall of the government, after the so-called "corruption money" was stopped by the Petkov government.

2. During the dove or caretaker governments of Radev, as well as that of Denkov, adequate contracts were not signed for road maintenance, and those that were signed were extremely dubious from a corruption point of view. Work on many of the contracts concluded at that time was not done at all, and is not being done to this day. Yesterday the curtain was lifted as to why. Well, because some big corrupt person in the corrupt RIA had hidden the documentation and not released it for reporting… Until he got his money.

The leadership of this rotten institution was appointed precisely during the aforementioned period of anarchy, more precisely in short or temporary cabinets.

Cabinets that have absolutely no problem burying Bulgaria with a 13-year highly corrupt /probably at an international level/ contract with Botas, but fail to make even the most, most urgent repairs to the rotting roads.

3. Last but not least, in my opinion, is the quality of Bulgarian drivers and, above all, the quality of the legislation that tolerates the roller coaster of horrors on Bulgarian roads.

It is almost impossible to drive in cities without having conflict points with numerous violators, those who believe they are masters not only of their own lives but also of mine.

It is almost impossible to drive on the highway /the only one/ without being repeatedly overtaken on the right by a variety of cars, “because they are in a hurry”. The most noble of them accompany this action with a horn, but not often.

The Bulgarian knows that he does not have a country and therefore has no trust in it, neither in sanctions, nor in decisions.

And he is right!

Because the jeep that almost killed 6 children on a pedestrian crossing yesterday, at a red light, is clearly aware of what he is doing, because it gives a horn and the children run away, so this driver was found and... sanctioned. i.e. - Fined 100 leva.

Now, if this cow does the same thing again and again fails to kill the children, ….. oh well, then his punishment will be 200 leva.

No, not attempted murder, as it is. No, a 200 leva sanction, enshrined in the law, which the Ministry of Interior has strictly implemented by fining the cattle.

This is what those in parliament are doing, who next week will be very busy voting on confidence/no-confidence.

This is their contribution to stopping the roller coaster of horrors on Bulgarian roads.

And if you think that in civilized countries the population is much more cultured and conscientious, that is not the case.

But the sanctions that the law provides for and the authorities impose are such that even a stupid cattle knows how much such behavior will cost him and does not allow it.

Because the power of strict legislation is prevention.

But this last word is unknown in meaning to those Venkosabrutists and the entire fauna that inhabits the Bulgarian parliament.
