The management of Botev Plovdiv came up with a position on the club's Facebook page, where they specified that within two weeks they will announce official information in connection with the campaign to sell 30 percent of the shares of the "yellow-black".
As is known, after the 10-year ban on entering Bulgaria imposed on the owner of the "canaries" Anton Zingarevich, he transferred 30 percent of the club's shares to the "PFK Botev" Association and they were put on free sale. The campaign ended on April 17 and the result has not been announced yet.
"Dear Botev fans,
We would like to inform you that official information regarding the campaign to sell 30% of the club's shares will be announced within two weeks.
In the event that the same is declared unsuccessful, then every Botev fan who purchased the club's shares will have their invested funds returned to them.
If the campaign is deemed successful, as a sign of respect for the Botev fans who have shown empathy for the club, then the shares purchased by them will be converted into capital.
At this moment, work processes are underway in the club, on the basis of which the majority owner, Mr. Anton Zingarevich, will make a decision on the future of PFC “Botev“, says the official position of the management of the "canaries".
