We will lose money on the Recovery Plan. We hear how now there is talk of recovering part of the funds, negotiating something with the European Commission and using them in a future period, at a later stage. But who is the big culprit for getting to this situation. All those who did not vote in the last three years to have a budget are to blame. Out of the last four years, in three of them we have started the year without a state budget. This was announced to Lili Marinkova in the studio “FACTI“ and the show “Conversation“ by economist Assoc. Prof. Grigor Sariyski.
“When finances cannot be signed, municipalities cannot work. This is an example. Without a state budget, municipalities cannot implement their programs, and thus the Recovery Plan cannot be implemented. Let's say, the rehabilitation program. It has 1.2 billion leva set aside, and so far about 90 projects have been reported, which are roughly about 100 million leva. That is, the money is available, but it is not being used. And now this money will be cut from the other funds under the plan“, he added.
