The vote, which was voted on in the parliament under the general title of foreign policy, we did not hear much about foreign policy in it. We heard the usual clichés, political mantras that are outside the main political conversation. And in this political conversation there are two issues that need to be resolved. These two issues are related to Bulgaria's money. What is happening with the holes in last year's budget, in this year's, do we have a deficit or not? The second conversation is about the fairness of the elections. We heard different assessments, including assessments like “they were almost fair“, but can we - as a society, hold very fair elections!? This is the big question. Do we - as a society, agree that the elections are not fair enough!? This was announced to Lili Marinkova in the studio “FACTS“ and the program “Conversation“ by Stefan Yanev, leader of the “Bulgarian Rise“ party.
“Do we have reason to believe that this representation, which is in the National Assembly, will produce a majority and a government, after we have doubts about the elections. Do we have reason to believe that those who govern us will do the right things for society, including in terms of foreign policy”, Stefan Yanev also shared.
“We see how our political representatives, related to your politics, stigmatize each other, speak against - to philists and phobes and everything else. Where is the Bulgarian interest? Can someone formulate what the Bulgarian interest is. To say that this is in the interest of Bulgaria. Respectively, in the unions in which we are members with our foreign political activity, we will defend this thesis, this idea, because it is in the interest of Bulgaria, of Bulgarian citizens, of our economy and so on. We do not see this. This is the problem“, added the guest.
