Today the UN agency for Palestinian aid refugee agency said reports of attacks on families taking refuge in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah were “appalling,”, Reuters and BTA reported.
The agency stressed that the attacks resulted in numerous victims, including children and women. The UNRWA statement paints a grim picture in Gaza, calling it “hell on earth”, with recent images from the area serving as stark evidence of the devastation.

There are reports of mass causalities including children and women among those killed.
Gaza is hell on earth. Images from last night are yet another testament to that.
Palestinian health officials said Israeli airstrikes in Rafah, targeting an area designated for evacuations, killed at least 35 people and wounded many others.
Israeli security forces claim that the air strike in Rafah is linked to the Palestinian extremist group "Hamas". An investigation into the attack is currently underway.
The situation in Gaza remains tense and filled with grief as the international community watches, hoping for a solution that will bring peace and safety to innocent civilians in the region.
