ISW: NATO gives Kiev green light for strikes on Russian territory - 1

NATO Parliamentary Assembly has called on member states to lift their bans on Ukraine using weapons provided by the West to strike Russian territory.

This is stated in the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) daily analysis.

The declaration also called on member states to speed up the delivery of critical weapons to Ukraine, and more than 200 state representatives supported the declaration.

Some NATO countries, including the UK, have already lifted such restrictions on the weapons they provide to Ukraine, but not enough Western countries have done so for Ukraine to challenge Russia's sanctuary from which it can freely carry out airstrikes or to organize ground operations against Ukraine.
