Dozens of bodies were found after an operation by the Israeli army in Gaza City, the Qatar TV channel reported Al Jazeera.
After the Israeli military left the city of Tel el-Hawa, civil defense forces found the bodies of at least 60 dead. The search continues for the dead and injured in buildings on destroyed streets in the area. Most of those killed were entire families, women and children, reported the Civil Defense of Gaza.
The head of Gaza's government press office, Ismail al-Tawabta, accused Israeli forces of carrying out a "planned massacre" in Gaza City.
Since the start of Israel's aggression against Gaza last October, at least 38,345 Palestinians have been killed and 88,295 wounded.
