Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country chose its targets in Iran based on its national interests, not what was dictated by the United States, Reuters reported, citing the US.
Netanyahu's cabinet made the statement in response to what it described as "completely false" a local television report that Israel avoided strikes on Iranian gas and oil facilities because of US pressure.
"Israel pre-selected attack targets in accordance with its national interests, not American dictates. That's how it was and that's how it will be," his office said.
