Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said today that calls for the Israeli army to evacuate entire areas of Lebanon before they are bombed are “another a war crime" committed by Israel, reported France Press.
„The threats made by the Israeli enemy to the Lebanese civilian population, with calls to evacuate entire cities and to be displaced [...], are another war crime among the series of crimes committed by the enemy,”, he pointed out Mikati in a statement calling for “increasing pressure on Israel to end its aggression”.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) warned today that the ongoing war between “Hezbollah“ and Israel has turned the “children's lives” in Lebanon, where at least one child has died every day for nearly a month.
„Since October 4, every day at least one child has died, and ten others have been injured,”, the organization said in a statement. She added that “thousands of other children who have survived months of continuous bombardment [...] are now suffering from severe mental stress as a result of the escalating violence and chaos all around”.
