Kiev asks Russia for list of Ukrainian prisoners of war - 1

Ukraine's Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets called on Russia to provide a list of prisoners of war held by the Russian army, and which it is ready to exchange for its soldiers in Ukrainian captivity. The information was reported by Reuters, adding that the statement came days after Moscow accused Kiev of sabotaging prisoner exchanges.

After Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused the country's Western backers of standing idly by as North Korean troops massed from Russia near the Sumy-Kursk border, in a video address tonight he called for tighter controls on sanctions against Russia and concluded that in October alone, the aggressors launched over 2,000 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles against Ukraine:

"For such a number of Shaheds, more than 170,000 components were used, the import of which should have been blocked in Russia. These are microchips, microcontrollers, processors and other parts without which this terror would be impossible. However, all these elements arrive in Russia from abroad - unfortunately, companies from China, Europe, America are involved in the import - all actions that are "micro-imports" to the incessant Russian terror.

The fight against Russian attacks also means a fight against the circumvention of sanctions. They need to be expanded and made effective. Any avoidance of them is a crime against human beings. It is a global threat and only global pressure can stop it.

Ukrainian air defense repels another air attack on the capital Kyiv tonight, reported "Telegram" Mayor Vitaly Klitschko. For now, it is only clear that there were explosions on the outskirts of the city.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that over the past 24 hours, air defense systems have destroyed and intercepted 28 Ukrainian drones over the territories of Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Rostov, Nizhny Novgorod and Crimea regions.
