US President-elect Donald Trump will not allow of Russian President Vladimir Putin to win the war against Ukraine. This was stated by former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in an interview with France Inter, quoted by Focus.
„I wonder how a man like Donald Trump can start his term with capitulation, humiliation of the West, NATO and himself, if he gives Putin a chance to win Ukraine?“, commented Johnson.
According to the former prime minister, Trump's statements that he can end the war in Ukraine in just 24 hours are just rhetoric. However, Johnson believes that the Republican will not allow Putin to achieve victory.
Johnson also emphasized that Trump will not accept defeat because of his pride and ego:
“He is exactly what everyone is talking about: he has an ego, he has pride. I hope he will never accept that Putin can beat him.
