Two students are hospitalized after a shooting at an elementary school of the Adventist church in the city of Palermo in the northern part of the American state of California . The alleged attacker is dead, reported Reuters and the Associated Press, cited by BTA, citing local authorities.
The police are at the scene of the accident, reported on the social network "X". the Butte County Sheriff's Office. From there, they later specified that police found the suspected shooter dead, who appeared to have committed suicide.
Investigators are trying to determine if the shooter had any connection to the school, Sheriff Cory Honea said.
The students were safely removed from the school and are with their families, the sheriff's office said.
