The leader of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, reacted to Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal to choose a target in Kiev for a test of the new Oreshnik ballistic missile, Focus reports.
In a message on his Telegram channel, Kadyrov said he was ready to choose a target and participate in this experiment.
Putin against Western air defense systems
During Putin's annual press conference, he assured that the new Oreshnik missile cannot be shot down by existing air defense systems in Europe. The Russian president challenged the West to prove otherwise, suggesting they choose a target in Kiev to destroy and try to stop the attack with the "Oreshnik".
Missile test with international focus
Putin stressed that if the West has doubts about the "Oreshnik" capabilities, he is ready to test the new missile with a focus on Ukraine's air defense systems. According to him, they could concentrate on defending Kiev while Russia tests the missile.
