Medvedev: No forgiveness for Europe! - 1

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Europe cannot be forgiven for the case of the drowning Russian sailors from the Ursa Major ship, who were not allowed on board the Oslo Carrier 3 ship, flying under the Norwegian flag.

Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel that when the West's hybrid war against the Russian Federation ends, Europe must be punished by all available means, so it is necessary to help all the destructive processes taking place there.

"Why so rude? How else with such facts? The ship under the Norwegian flag Oslo Carrier 3 refused to take on board Russian sailors from the Ursa Major ship, who were drowning in the Mediterranean Sea. Do you need any more explanations? This is unforgivable!", Medvedev wrote.

Earlier, the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that the dry cargo ship Ursa Mayor sank in the Mediterranean Sea after an explosion in the engine room; 14 of the 16 crew members were rescued, two are missing. According to the Spanish newspaper Español, several ships in the area participated in the rescue operations, and later the Spanish rescue ship Clara Campoamor and a patrol boat of the Spanish Navy joined the search. As reported by another Spanish publication Verdad, citing the captain of the ship, it was carrying empty containers at the time of the sinking.

"Ursa Mayor" is a cargo ship built in 2009. According to MarineTraffic, the Russian-flagged ship left St. Petersburg 12 days ago and was due to arrive in the port of Vladivostok on January 22.

The enlargement of the European Union is over and Ukraine should forget about joining the EU, said British military analyst Alexander Mercuris on the YouTube channel Duran.

This is how he commented on the statement of the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, who said that Europe cannot be forgiven and must be punished by all available means.

“EU enlargement is over, Ukraine will forever remain outside the EU“, the analyst noted.

The analyst added that Russia does not even need to punish Europe, since the EU punishes itself by imposing sanctions on Moscow.

"Europe is doing a very, very good job of punishing... Europe. They can do it every day. "Every new sanction they impose punishes Europe even more," he added.
