86-year-old woman injured in Lgov, gas distribution station damaged

In the first minutes of the new year, the Ukrainian armed forces launched a missile strike on the Belovsky district of the Kursk region, and the attack caused no casualties, said acting governor Alexander Khinshtein.

As a result of the shelling, a gas distribution station near the village of Giry was damaged, without disrupting the gas supply to households.

Recovery work has begun, the acting governor added.

On the evening of December 31, after a missile attack by the Ukrainian armed forces, a residential building in Lgov, Kursk region was seriously damaged. An 86-year-old woman was injured.

Earlier in December, the Russian Ministry of Defense published data on the range of long-range missiles that NATO countries are supplying to Ukraine. It is clear from them that the DPR and LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, Crimea, the western parts of Krasnodar Territory and Volgograd Region are within the range of ATACMS, Storm Shadow and Scalp-EG missiles. This zone also includes the regions of the Central Federal District - Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Belgorod and Voronezh, as well as parts of Kaluga, Smolensk and Tambov regions.
