Russia attacked the Ukrainian capital Kiev with drones on New Year's Eve, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA, citing local authorities.
The Russian attack in the early hours of the new year 2025 caused damage in at least two areas of the capital.
The Air Force warned that drones were approaching the city, with air raid sirens sounding.
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that Ukrainian air defenses had repelled enemy attacks and that debris from drones had caused fires in private buildings, Reuters added.
