The newly elected US President Donald Trump showed what the US would look like if Canada joined them.
The future American leader posted a map on his Truth Social page on Tuesday. Canada and the United States are colored the same, thus forming one country called the United States.
Earlier, Trump said that many Canadians support their country becoming the 51st state of the United States. He believes that such a union would not only bring economic stability to Canada, but also protect it from external threats, which, according to the newly elected president, come from "Russian and Chinese ships".
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that there is "not the slightest chance" of the country becoming part of the United States. He said both nations benefit from their countries being “each other's largest trading and security partners“.
