Special commissioners of the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement are testing the loyalty of employees of federal departments who want to work for the new US President Donald Trump, reported Associated Press (AP), citing its sources.
According to them, those wishing to join the new Republican administration must pass a number of “serious loyalty tests“. For this purpose, the White House is sending teams of specialists to government agencies. The officials, who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity, called these people “MAGA commissioners“. and described them as young people without much knowledge of the activities of the services in which they conduct inspections.
The inspectors pay attention to even the slightest discrepancies between the positions of the candidates and the ideas of the movement, the publication notes. Even a post on the social network or a photo with an opponent of Trump can be a reason for refusing to work.
If they pass the first stage of the inspections, those wishing to work in federal departments must convince the inspectors that they are “inspired” from the opportunity to work to implement the plans of the new American leader and provide recommendations from people whose loyalty has already been proven.
