Russian forces have captured the village of Novovasilevka in Ukraine's Donetsk region, the Defense Ministry in Moscow said, as quoted by Reuters and BTA.
"Units of the "Center" army group continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses and liberated the settlements of Zelenovo, Novoelizavetovka and Novovasilevka in Donetsk region," the official statement of the Russian military ministry said.
The ministry added that Russian forces had also captured the village of Velika Novoselka in the same region.
In addition, units of the "West" army group have established control over the village of Dvurechnaya in Kharkiv region.
Reuters has been unable to independently confirm these claims.
