US President Donald Trump plans to limit former Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan's access to classified information, writes The New York Post.

On February 7, the US president restricted access to his predecessor Joe Biden, saying: “Joe, you're fired“. The publication writes that the decision regarding Blinken was made in connection with his participation in the campaign, which included unsuccessful attempts to prove that Russia was involved in the case of Hunter Biden's laptop.

The newspaper also reported that New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who previously handled cases against Trump, could also lose access to classified information.

Ahead of the 2020 presidential election, The New York Post published a story based on confidential email correspondence from Hunter Biden. Trump's former lawyer Rudolph Giuliani claimed that he obtained copies of correspondence from Hunter Biden's laptop hard drive, then verified the authenticity of these materials and handed them over to the publication.

According to American media, the correspondence indicates that Hunter Biden is trying to take advantage of his father's official position for his own business interests. The laptop also contained several photos and videos showing Hunter Biden using drugs and drinking alcohol. Joe Biden, then the Democratic presidential candidate, has alleged that Russia was involved in the dissemination of the information.
