The Ukrainian military announced today that they shot down 130 drones sent by Russia last night, reported "Agence France-Presse", quoted by BTA.
According to information from the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia attacked 14 regions with "Shahed" drones and two ballistic missiles. A message on "Telegram", quoted by "Ukrinform", states that since 19:30 last night Russia launched two "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles from the Kursk region, as well as a total of 178 "Shahed" drones and other types of decoy drones.
The air attack was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force.
As of 8:30 this morning, it was confirmed that 130 drones had been shot down over Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.
The Ukrainian military added that 38 enemy decoy drones were lost from radar, but did not lead to significant consequences.
Damage from the Russian attack was recorded in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Odessa, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions. In the Odessa region, the attack caused a fire and damage to infrastructure, with one person injured.
