Russians' trust in Putin fell by almost a percent in a week, but remains huge - 79.8%  - 1

The level of trust among Russians in Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a survey conducted from March 24 to 30, has decreased by 0.9 percentage points during the week and is 79.8%. This is according to data from the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research (VTsIOM).

The survey was conducted among 1,600,000 adult Russians.

The level of approval for the president's activities has decreased by 0.8 percentage points and amounts to 77.4%.

The activities of the Russian government are approved by 53.4% of respondents (plus 1.5 percentage points), and the work of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is approved by 53.9% of respondents (plus 1.2 percentage points). 61.8% of respondents trust Mishustin.

The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov is trusted by 36.2% (plus 3 percentage points), the leader of "A Just Russia - For the Truth" Sergey Mironov - 30.1% (minus 1.4 percentage points), the leader of the LDPR Leonid Slutsky - 22.3% (minus 0.9 percentage points), the chairman of the party "New People" Alexey Nechaev - 8.8% (minus 1.7 percentage points).

The level of support for United Russia is 35.5% (minus 0.2 percentage points), the Communist Party of the Russian Federation - 10.1% (plus 0.1 percentage points), the LDPR - 11% (plus 0.4 percentage points), A Just Russia - For the Truth - 4% (plus 0.2 percentage points), New People - 6.6% (no change).
