US military forces have carried out a series of strikes on a technical school in Al-Bayda province in southwestern Yemen, the Houthi-controlled Al Masirah television channel reported.
According to its media outlet, the school was subjected to at least five airstrikes. As Al Arabiya television channel reported, citing its own sources, the target of the US airstrike was Houthi weapons depots located on the territory of the educational institution. There were no reports of casualties.
Since Saturday evening, the US has been shelling targets in three Yemeni provinces, Al Masirah reports. According to Al Arabiya, the US military also attacked a Houthi military camp in the Al-Bayda area. In addition, the air force carried out two strikes on rebel positions in Al-Hudaydah province and three strikes on warehouses used by the rebels to store weapons in Saada province.
On March 15, the United States, under the order of President Donald Trump, began attacking Houthi targets, who control about a third of Yemen. The operation is aimed at protecting American interests and ensuring freedom of navigation, the US Central Command said. In response, the Houthis carried out a series of attacks on the US aircraft carrier "Harry Truman" in the northern Red Sea, using missiles and drones.
