Military representatives from Turkey and other countries will meet on April 15-16 in Istanbul to discuss the future of security in the Black Sea in the event of a possible ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. This was announced by the Turkish Defense Ministry, quoted by Reuters, reports BTA.
“The meeting will be held on April 15-16 at the Naval Forces Headquarters and will focus on security issues in the Black Sea after a possible ceasefire between the Russian Federation and Ukraine“, the ministry's official statement said.
The ministry specified that representatives of Turkey and other countries would participate in the meeting, without specifying which countries would be represented.
It was separately reported that Russia and Ukraine would not attend the forum.
