US President Donald Trump's Senior Advisor on Trade and Manufacturing Peter Navarro said that there is no tension in the relationship between him and the head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk after their dispute.

The adviser to the head of the US administration praised the work that Musk is doing within the framework of the DOGE activities.
“Elon and his team are doing a great job of tackling waste, fraud and abuse“, he said.
On April 8, Musk called Navarro “a real idiot, dumber than a sack of bricks“ on the social network X.
The entrepreneur, who owns the electric car company Tesla and is the richest person in the world, called the ideas of Trump's senior adviser on trade and tariffs wrong. Navarro, in turn, described Musk on April 7 as a “auto mechanic”, and previously expressed the opinion that the businessman is just “a car salesman” and does not understand the intricacies of trade policy and tariff enforcement.
