Tbilisi welcomes peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia  - 1

"Georgia wholeheartedly welcomes the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia and we have confirmed our readiness to contribute to strengthening peace and cooperation in the region," Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili said during a press conference with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu, the Georgian Public Media (GPB) reported, BTA reports.

Bochorishvili stressed Georgia's sincere desire to strengthen peace and stability in the South Caucasus. "I am pleased to announce that last week Tbilisi hosted a trilateral meeting with the participation of the Foreign Ministries of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. I hope that this format will pave the way for fruitful cooperation that will benefit the well-being of our region," she said.

"Georgia attaches great importance to regional cooperation, especially in the implementation of projects that demonstrate our capabilities to promote economic development. In this regard, cooperation with our partners within the OSCE is vital," the minister added.
