The massive Russian missile strike on Kiev last night, which took the lives of nine people, shows that Moscow does not want to stop the fighting it has started in Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga announced, quoted by Agence France-Presse, BTA reported.
Russian President Vladimir Putin "shows with his actions, not with words, that he does not respect any efforts for peace and that all he wants is to continue the war," Sibiga said on social networks. He criticized Moscow's "maximalist demands" that Ukraine give up a large part of its territory as a condition for peace.
At least nine people were killed and 63 more injured in last night's Russian missile and drone strikes on Kiev, including children, Ukrainian rescue workers reported today services, quoted by the agencies. The attack is one of the bloodiest against the capital city since the beginning of the Russian invasion more than three years ago.
