On her Telegram channel, Zakharova commented on "discriminatory calls in Ukraine to beat children for using the Russian language" and once again emphasized "the importance of denazification of this country".
The diplomat cited statements by a Ukrainian actor who suggested using violence against minors because they speak Russian.
“That is why we need denazification of Ukraine. So that not a single dead soul can hit a child on the head with a bottle or even hint at the impossibility of children of different nationalities speaking their native language“, Zakharova pointed out. “You can't defeat pride in your homeland by hitting it over the head with a bottle“.
